Productiondata.nl online again
Due to persisting data errors on productiondata.nl an extensive testing period has been carried out last February. This has revealed and solved some hidden problems in the data exchange and data base management. Based on the results of the testing and improved data base management it is decided to go online again in a public test environment. To enhance the transparency and the reliability of the published data, we have introduced a new feature on the website:, a traffic light indicator for each company in this initiative. Under normal circumstances the indicator is green: data has been received and the data is plausible. If either criterion is false the indicator is red: data has not been received or data is not plausible. The producer who failed either criterion, will be addressed.
The plausibility test is as follows:
Available capacity, cannot exceed nominal capacity plus a margin for not-nominal conditions (e.g. weather conditions have a large influence on power plants with gas turbines)
Net Production, cannot exceed the maximum generation possible with the available capacity (again with a margin).
We apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused, but are confident that we have made an important step in providing reliable information on the Dutch electricity industry.
